Al Babino received a Masters degree in Finance from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Saint John's University in Jamaica, New York. He has been involved in the New York commercial real estate market for 17 years and has been with Standard Valuation Services since 1991.
Mr. Babino is a Partner at Standard Valuation Services and a New York State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser, specializing in the appraisal of apartment buildings, large residential portfolios and high end residential properties.
Mr. Babino manages a significant portion of our firm's residential client accounts, which are serviced by a team of seven residential appraisers. His appraisal experience has focused in the greater New York Metropolitan area, with concentrated emphasis in the New York City and Long Island regions.

Mr. Babino currently resides in Carle Place with his wife and children and is an avid golfer. He also has a mean garden, which yields an abundant supply of basil for his homemade pesto sauce. In the past, Mr. Babino has taught billiards to members of the Harvard Club in Manhattan. He is a family man, and he volunteers his time for local community groups such as the Rotary Club, the Kiwanis Club, his local church, a local children's day care center and the Carle Place High School Booster Club.
