MINEOLA, NEW YORK, June 30, 2008/Standard Valuation Services/- Matthew L. Smith, President of Standard Valuation Services, and Neal D. Peysner, a Partner of the firm, spoke at the annual NYCOM annual meeting held in Saratoga Springs earlier this month, on the topic of reassessment.
Both Mr. Smith and Mr. Peysner have been actively involved in reassessments within Nassau County since 1999, when Standard Valuation Services was retained to complete the revaluation of the City of Glen Cove.
In 2000, the firm was selected by the Nassau County Department of Assessment and the Cole Layer Trumble (CLT) Division of Tyler Technologies to serve as local experts in the reassessment of over 415,000 residential and commercial properties in Nassau County.
